The 15 boys team accomplished a Championship that no Strictly team has before and were crowned Disney Showcase Copa Champions.  This is a huge accomplishment for the players, team, club and parents.  There were a total of 32 Championships won and only two other teams from Florida were winners.  The team opened up with a 2-0 win over Charlotte Gold and then followed that up with a 1-0 win over Space Coast.  The last day brought Birmingham (Alabama State Champs) and a tough 1-0 loss.  Strictly won the group on goal differential and faced Albertson Academy from New York in the Final.  Strictly held a 3-1 lead into the second half and squandered many goal scoring opportunities, which always seems to come back and haunt you, and it did.  Fury gained a penalty which was converted and then ties it at 3 late.  They then lost a player to a red card, but minutes later the referee decided to even the playing field with a ridiculous red card to Strictly.  Momentum was all to the New Yorkers and things did not look good when they were given another pk, but Sean Covington made the save and Strictly countered and broke Kai Johnson loose for the eventual game winner.  Mos scored two amazing goals in the first half after Daniel Felman staked the team with a 1-0 lead. 
 
The 16 boys advanced and finished 3rd in the Predator bracket.  They opened with a great win over SYA of Virginia ranked in the top 50.  A tough loss to Cobb (GA State SF) 3-2, followed by a great 2-0 win over Texas with the under 17 National team Coaching staff in attendance.  The semi-finals brought Weston, a team that we have never defeated, and a hard fought 2-1 victory.
